National Recognition

Professor Jeffrey Rimer in the UH Cullen College of Engineering was named a Senior Member of the National Academy of Inventors (NAI) for 2021.

Best known for his expertise in the processes behind crystal growth and formation, Rimer’s research impacts everything from drug development and the production of chemicals and fuels to pathological diseases such as kidney stones and malaria.

He holds the Abraham E. Dukler Endowed Chair in William A. Brookshire Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
